We stop water where it starts: outside the wall.

A wet basement or crawl space isn’t a basement problem — it’s a dirt problem. Water is sitting in the clay against your foundation with nowhere to go, and hydrostatic pressure does the rest. You can manage that water inside with pumps and channels forever, or you can dig once and send it away before it touches the wall. We do the second one.

The exterior fix

Excavate to the footing. Clean and seal the wall with a waterproofing membrane. Lay a footing drain in washed stone, wrapped and filtered. Backfill so water falls to the drain instead of the wall, and regrade the surface so the yard stops feeding the problem. It’s the fix that removes the cause instead of managing the symptom.

It’s also the permanent answer, which is why it’s what gets specified on new construction. What we don’t do: interior perimeter systems and sump-pump-only installs. Plenty of companies do those well. Digging is what we’re better at.
